1. Consultant
Design and Domestic Manufacturing of Components of Sariyar Hydroelectric Power Plant (HES)
TOBB ETÜ Hydro, 2021–2023
This R&D project aimed to develop domestic capabilities in designing and manufacturing key components of a hydroelectric power plant. Dr. Aylı provided consultancy in CFD-based design of Francis turbine components and supported the optimization of performance and efficiency.

2. Principal Investigator
Investigation of Aeroacoustic and Aerodynamic Performance of Biomimetic Wing Structures Using Experimental Methods and CFD
Çankaya University BAP Project, 2021–2022
This project focused on the aeroacoustic behavior of bio-inspired airfoil geometries. By integrating experimental wind tunnel tests with CFD simulations, the study examined the effects of wing design on noise generation and aerodynamic performance.

3. Researcher
Experimental Investigation of Geometrical Parameters on Solar Chimney Power Plant Performance
METU BAP Project, 2020–2022
Dr. Aylı contributed to the design, prototyping, and testing of solar chimney systems, focusing on the impact of geometrical variations on natural convection and power output, supported by CFD modeling and data-driven analyses.

4. Consultant
Efficiency in Energy Production – European Union Project (IPA 2013 CS01c)
2019–2020
She contributed technical expertise for optimizing hydro turbine efficiency as part of a larger EU-funded initiative focused on improving energy production technologies in Turkey.

5. Researcher
MILHES: National Design and Manufacturing of Hydropower Plant Components
TÜBİTAK Project 110M539, Budget: 20 Million TL, 2021
This nationally significant project aimed at full domestic development of hydroelectric power plant equipment. Dr. Aylı contributed to the hydraulic design, runner optimization, and CFD simulations of Francis turbines.

6. Researcher
MILHES: National Hydroelectric Power Plant Project
TÜBİTAK KAMAG Project 113G109, Budget: 23 Million TL (4 Million TL TOBB ETÜ Share), 2015–2021
Her role involved reverse engineering and performance evaluation of large-scale hydro turbines, supporting experimental validation through model-prototype correlation studies.

7. Fellow
Development of Infrastructure for Hydraulic Turbine Design and Testing
2011–2016
This capacity-building initiative supported the creation of a full-scale hydro turbine test center. Dr. Aylı was responsible for numerical model development and the implementation of CFD validation workflows.

8. Fellow

Flow Control and Modeling in Supersonic Cavities Using Laser Energy Deposition
TÜBİTAK 1001 Project (110M539), Budget: 81,250 TL, 2011–2013
Her MSc research contributed to this advanced flow control project. She performed URANS-based CFD simulations to understand unsteady phenomena in supersonic cavity flows and investigated laser-induced control mechanisms.
